Wellbeing activities are being well established in many African countries, and there is a growing demand for them across the continent.
But there are many barriers that prevent them from being adopted universally.
Wellbeing in the developing world has been neglected, but the potential for the continent is enormous.
Here, we explore the diversity of the challenges faced by those living well in Africa, the challenges of being well in a developed country, and the solutions that are being implemented.
First, we take a look at what wellbeing is and how it is being experienced in Africa.
Second, we look at how well people are living well and how they are being supported by their communities.
Third, we offer suggestions for improving well being and supporting people in their pursuit of wellness.
We also take a deeper look at the reasons people do not feel well and offer suggestions on how to address those reasons.
Finally, we examine the challenges facing well-being in developing countries and offer our suggestions for how to help achieve well being in those countries.
